• Instagram Profile Data: Public profile information, username, profile picture, bio, and media count when you connect your Instagram account.
• Instagram Media: Photos, videos, captions, and engagement metrics (likes, comments) with your explicit authorization via Instagram Login.
• Instagram Insights: Audience demographics, reach, impressions, and follower growth metrics when permitted by your account type and authorization.

We only request the minimum Instagram permissions necessary for the features you use. You may revoke our access to your Instagram data at any time through your Instagram account settings.

Information Collected Automatically

• Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, time spent, and interactions within the platform.
• Device Information: Browser type, operating system, IP address, and device type.

3. Instagram Integration & Meta Platform Compliance

Our platform uses Instagram Basic Display API and Instagram Graph API under Meta’s Platform Terms. The following disclosures are made in compliance with Meta’s Platform Policies:

• We only access Instagram data that you explicitly authorize through the Instagram Login flow.
• We do not share Instagram user data with third parties, advertising networks, or data brokers.
• We do not use Instagram data for any advertising, retargeting, or ad personalization purposes.
• We do not sell Instagram user data or any other personal information.
• Instagram data is cached temporarily to improve performance and is not stored beyond what is necessary to provide our service.
• You can revoke our app’s access to your Instagram data at any time from your Instagram account’s Apps and Websites settings.
• We do not use Instagram data to make eligibility decisions about employment, credit, or insurance.
• Our use of Instagram data complies with Meta’s Platform Policy and Data Policy.

If you have connected your Instagram account and wish to delete the data we have retrieved from Instagram, please refer to Section 8 (User Rights) below.

4. Cookies & Similar Technologies

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to enhance your experience on our platform. The types of cookies we use include:

5. Analytics

We use analytics tools to understand how our platform is used and to improve our services. These tools collect information such as:

• Technical data (browser type, device type, approximate location at the city level).

6. AI Processing

Fly Edge Creators uses artificial intelligence (AI) to power features such as script analysis, content suggestions, and performance insights. Here is how AI processing works:

• What is processed: Only the content you explicitly submit for analysis (e.g., scripts, text inputs) is sent to our AI models.
• How it is processed: Submitted content is transmitted securely to our AI service providers (e.g., DeepSeek, OpenAI-compatible APIs) for processing. Results are returned to you and stored only as needed to display your history.
• Training: We do not use your submitted content to train or improve AI models unless you give us explicit opt-in consent. By default, your data is excluded from any training datasets.
• Data retention after AI processing: Analysis results are stored in your account for your reference. You may delete individual analyses or your entire analysis history at any time.
• Instagram data and AI: Instagram data retrieved via our APIs is never sent to AI models unless you explicitly choose to use an AI feature that analyzes that data (e.g., generating caption suggestions based on your Instagram content).

We implement technical safeguards to ensure AI processing is secure, privacy-preserving, and transparent. You have the right to opt out of any AI feature at any time by discontinuing use of that specific feature.

7. Data Retention

We retain your personal information only as long as necessary to provide our services and fulfill the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law.

• Account data: Retained for the duration of your account’s existence. Upon account deletion, we delete or anonymize your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g., tax records).
• Instagram data: Cached data is refreshed periodically and deleted immediately when you disconnect your Instagram account or revoke our app’s permissions.
• AI analysis results: Retained as part of your account history until you delete them or close your account.
• Analytics data: Aggregated analytics may be retained indefinitely in anonymized form.
• Backup retention: Data may persist in encrypted backups for up to an additional 30 days after deletion from the primary database.

8. User Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

Despite these measures, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but will promptly notify you of any data breach affecting your personal information as required by applicable law.

10. Third-Party Services

Fly Edge Creators integrates with the following third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy governing data handling:

11. Children’s Privacy

Fly Edge Creators is not intended for individuals under the age of 13 (or 16 in the European Economic Area). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that a child has provided us with personal data, we will promptly delete it. If you believe a child has provided us with their data, please contact us.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, legal requirements, or platform features.
